Athletic Hall of Fame
Purpose
The Rockwood Summit Hall of Fame recognizes students and faculty for outstanding Athletic and Personal Achievement, who have represented our school with character at the highest levels of competition in the Rockwood community and the State of Missouri.
Criteria for Selection
State Champion In an Individual Sport
First Team All-State Coaches Selection
Missouri State Athlete of the Year
Must have been a graduate from Rockwood Summit
Special Selection By Committee Based on High School Accomplishments
General Guidelines include:
- Multi-Sport Athlete
- MSHSAA All State Performer in Designated Sport (s).
- Conference/District/Metro Recognition
Induction
A 7 member committee will be selected yearly by the Activities Director. All committee members will be current Rockwood Summit Head Coaches plus the Activities Director. The committee will review all nominations and vote on selection into the Hall of Fame. Candidates must be approved with at least 5 yes votes for HOF selection. Nominations may be re-submitted on a yearly basis.
Inductees will be voted on and selected by members of the Rockwood Summit Recognition Committee each year. Participants will be honored at an athletic event during the year in which they were selected. Their names will go in the Rockwood Summit Hall of Fame.
