Social Workers
The role of the school social worker in the Rockwood School District is to partner with the school counselor to identify students and families in need of extra support as they navigate life’s challenges.
The school social worker provides support with mental health and behavioral concerns, as well as positive behavioral support, classroom support, consultation with parents and school staff, and therapeutic individual and group support.
