President’s Report: Intercultural night in April. We are still looking for participants (via google sign up).

Principal’s Report:
•    Dustin Hayes is our new AD.
•    Kristen Miller is a new assistant principal, working with the incoming Freshman class.
•    Awards season is in full bloom! There were several Summit nominations.
•    Parent Teacher conferences are this Wednesday and next Thursday. Wednesday’s reschedule will be the 27th, if needed.
•    7 built-in snow days. Once you get to the 8th day, there will be online classwork (AMI Day with no live teachers) that is due the day they are back in the classroom. This counts as attendance.
•    Can food drive is going well. Kids are enjoying their raffle prizes. Currently we have over 1400 cans. The drive ends on Friday.
•    Special Olympics – still looking for student volunteers. It takes place the day before spring break.
•    The district is going to roll out finger printing (for background checks) any volunteer that could be left alone with a kid. At this point, the cost is passed on to the parent.
•    Social workers saw a presenter from West County Psychological Associates. Someone could come talk with parents about relating to their children about things going on in their lives. The committee would like to get more information about this program.

Staff Report

Treasurer’s Report: Not too many changes. Nothing major to report.

Communication/Website: No update. Lots of things are being shared on the website (thank you!).

Grade Level Rep’s Report

Senior Reps: Still working on Senior Slam. They have a variety of prizes to give out.

Junior Reps: Savor the Flavor is going well (around 20 restaurants). Will have 8-10 basket raffles. There will be a pre-raffle prior to the event. Some of the items include an activity pass and parking spot. Pancake breakfast - there will be a display board and yard signs.

Sophomore Reps: Will start selling Junior signs after spring break.

Freshman Reps: Looking at selling meat packs through Corner Butcher in the next month or so.

Committee Reports

Old Business: none.

New Business: Forbidden foods – already fully staffed! Snack shack spirit wear restock is in process. Spirit store proposals are coming in and they are adorable.
