Principal’s Report:
- Teacher Appreciation Luncheon - Huge Thank You for our luncheon! Our staff LOVES Que Pasa. Our new administrator, Kristen Miller was in town and able to join us for most of the luncheon. She is very excited to come to Summit next year, I'm sure because of the trash can of tortilla chips!
- Senior Sunset - changed this to Thursday, their last official day of class and day before graduation rehearsal. Very well attended!
- Senior Slam - from my perspective it was a huge success! I left close to 1am and thought the kids were really engaged and having a great time. Kudos to the Senior Class Parents! Not only was it was organized, but they did a great job of interacting with the kids. Poker, Roulette, Tarot Cards were all a big success along with the gym games. The reptiles/snakes were also well liked and lots of kids got the Caricature drawings.
- Last week of school will have an adjusted bell schedule with exam times for Tuesday through Friday (on the last newsletter). Monday is a regular A day schedule and Friday will be an early release schedule.

Staff Report
Treasurer’s Report: Still pursuing some teachers to submit receipts to get their grants paid. Getting ready to pull over Cheddar Up funds, but waiting on a few final Senior Slam items to finalize.
Communication/Website: none.
Events/Staff Support: Appreciation lunch was well received. Some lessons learned to improve further next year.
Grade Level Rep’s Report
Senior Reps: 80% of senior class attended Senior Slam. Event was a huge success but next year we could go with less food. Board games, petting zoo, card games, inflatables were all very popular. There was something for everyone.
Junior Reps: Pura Vida bracelets will be sold at 5/22 orientation for current 8th graders. Looking forward to debrief with Senior Reps to kick off their Senior Slam planning.
Sophomore Reps: Gift card package raffles raised about $1200. Really pleased with the new vendor used for senior yard signs. Quick turnaround allowed them to collect purchases and then order signs to avoid over-buying.
Freshman Reps: Looking into a summer fun raffle to include a Top Golf gift card. Also considering a class of 2028 spirit wear sale next year.
