PSO Meeting Notes
March 9, 2026

Dr. McCown, Shana Thomas, Laura Roth, Emily Warner, Jill Elder, Laurie Phillip, Katie Gregston, Jamie Cobb, Cara Gill, Barb Stanek, Tiffani Larkin, Keisha Adams, Jodi Carlson, Lindsay Wulf
The meeting began at 6:35 pm.
Minutes from the previous meeting were unanimously approved.
President’s Report:
· Nothing to report
Principal’s Report:
· Winter sports ended last week, and spring sports are starting up
· Band and orchestra have started their competitions. Several awards have been received
· Special Olympics is this Thursday
· Spring break is next week, ending with a late start
· Renaissance is April 2nd; Senior honor cords out this week
· District-wide ACT is April 11th
· On April 9th we will welcome incoming freshmen with Link Crew
· Need two parent volunteers for the parent curriculum advisory panel. April 15th – two sessions - reach out to Dr. McCown for more info
Staff Report
Treasurer’s Report:
· Snack Shack is continuing to do well
· Spirit wear is in the positive!
· Renaissance got paid for the money they needed
· Grant fulfillments are still coming in
· Motion to accept the financial report was unanimously approved
Communication/Website:
● Need to post the slate for next year for 30 days before they can be approved (see below)
Events/Staff Support:
· Teacher staff appreciation lunch (big one) coming up soon
Grade Level Rep’s Report
Senior Reps: Gas raffle – sold 50 out of 150. It was requested to please post on the class pages. Jen is working on shirts and decals for the 026. Senior slam - about a third of the class has purchased tickets. Two more meetings are coming up. There are funds available for anyone who wants to apply for a scholarship.
Junior Reps: Savor the flavors was a huge, sold-out success! There were 23 restaurant participants and 18 baskets. They are expected to hit $8K in revenue. It was really well put together. The punch board was also a huge success.
Sophomore Reps: March Madness brackets sales have been mediocre, but they just went live. They may try to add to other media sources and send a reminder on “Selection Sunday.”
Freshman Reps: Only 5 squares left for their March Madness squares.

· Forbidden foods towards the end of the year? May do the last day of the year for seniors.
