Information about CHANGES TO THE ACT and ONLINE vs PAPER testing
ACT Test Fees:
$68 ACT - STANDARD ENHANCED testing with 3 sections (English, Math, Reading), includes reports to four colleges indicated at registration, paper or online
$4 add SCIENCE section
$25 add WRITING section
Additional fees apply for registering late/standby, requesting additional score reports, and requesting answer key or verification
Test Fee Waivers
Students who receive Free or Reduced School Meals are eligible for FOUR ACT fee waivers (in addition to the district free ACT for all juniors) during high school. Students can email velizkatie@rsdmo.org or see Mrs. Veliz in the RSHS Counseling Office for a fee waiver code if they are eligible.
ACT Testing Accommodations
An IEP or 504 plan, receiving ELL services, or having a medical diagnosis does not automatically guarantee extended time or other accommodations on the ACT exam.
For National ACT Testing, students will initiate the request for accommodations at the time they register for the exam online. This will send an email to the school to submit the request along with proper documentation.
Once a student is approved, the accommodations continue for future ACT testing while in high school.
