RSHS will host the 9/19, 10/17, and 12/12 dates for the 26-27 school year.

Rockwood Summit does not host the ACT on all test dates, and when hosting offers paper testing only.

If RSHS is not listed as a testing location when you register, please select a nearby school. 


ACT Test Fees:

  • $68: Standard Enhanced Testing (includes English, Math, and Reading sections, with reports to four colleges)

  • $4: Add Science Section

  • $25: Add Writing Section
    Additional fees may apply for late/standby registration, requesting additional score reports, or for requesting the answer key or verification.

Information on Paper vs Online ACT Testing options

*Be sure to save your MyACT account username and password - you will need to access your account to print your test day ticket, access scores, and register for future ACT testing. 


Test Fee Waivers:

Students who receive Free or Reduced Price School Meals are eligible for two ACT fee waivers during high school (in addition to the free ACT offered by the district for all juniors).
To request a fee waiver, eligible students can:

  • Email coxcrissy@rsdmo.org, or

  • Visit Mrs. Cox in the RSHS Counseling Office for a waiver code.


ACT Testing Accommodations:

Having an IEP, 504 plan, ELL services, or a medical diagnosis does not automatically guarantee accommodations on the ACT exam.
To request accommodations for National ACT Testing:

  1. Initiate the request during the online registration process.

  2. The school will submit the request along with required documentation.

  3. Once approved, accommodations will be available for future ACT tests during high school.

Preparing for your ACT Test day:

BRING:

  • Photo ID

  • Test Ticket (be sure you upload your picture when you register)

  • Sharpened nonmechanical pencils with erasers

  • An ACT-approved calculator

  • Testing online?

    • Bring your fully charged device - you may use your RSD Chromebook at any testing site

    • Prior to test day - launch the TestNav app (already installed in the kiosk waffle on all RSD Chromebooks; no need to download it) and familiarize yourself with the testing format and tools

  • OPTIONAL - snack and drink for the break only

  • SUGGESTED - dress in layers for personal comfort, as room temperatures vary
