Minority Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded to individuals who qualify as belonging to a minority group including, but not limited to, people of color and women.

NACME SCHOLARSHIPS
SPONSOR: National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME)

ELIGIBILITY: Awarded to underrepresented minority students. Must either be a high school senior applying to an engineering or computer science program at a NACME Partner Institution, or be currently matriculating in an engineering or computer science program at a NACME Partner Institution, a US citizen or permanent resident, and have a minimum cumulative GPA requirement of a specific scholarship.
THE GATES SCHOLARSHIP
SPONSOR: The Gates Scholarship Program

AMOUNT: Full cost of tuition not covered by financial aid (300 scholarships will be awarded)

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be a high school senior in academic good standing (minimum cum weighted GPA of 3.3 on 4.0 scale) and be eligible for the Pell Grant to qualify. U.S. Citizen, national or permanent resident. Must also identify as African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian and Pacific Islander American and/or Hispanic American. Planning to enroll full-time in a 4-year degree program at a US accredited, not-for-profit private or public college/university. The ideal candidate has demonstrated leadership skills and “exceptional” personal success skills.

THURGOOD MARSHALL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

TMCF offers three types of unique scholarships that are merit, plus need-based designed to address the financial needs of students attending a TMCF member-school or other accredited college or university (if applicable). The awards process is highly competitive and is given to outstanding and qualified students who plan to earn a baccalaureate, graduate or law degree.
