Tutoring

Many of our teachers are available for help before and after school. If students are having a rough time in class we strongly recommend that they meet with their teacher when they are available. You can find times when teachers are available on their websites or contact the teacher directly to set up a time that will work for everyone.

Academic Lab/Math Lab

Rockwood Summit offers a variety of tutoring options for all students. One way to get extra help is in the academic and math labs. Academic lab is offered every hour of the day, as well as after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:20 pm to 4:20 pm in room 220. Students have the option of attending academic lab during their study hall time if they choose to enroll in a study hall or during flex time. The academic lab is staffed by teachers in core subject areas which offers tutoring and make-up exam services throughout the day. Math lab is offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school from 7:20 am to 8:20 am and after school from 3:20 pm to 4:20 pm. Math lab is staffed by math teachers and offers tutoring for all math classes.
